I've owned my 2000 rsv r for about 6 months. I thought it was running fine until my brother bought one. His bike revs to about 10500rpm but mine wont rev past 9000rpm. I have changed the plugs, air filter and checked the valve clearances. I've also changed the eprom chip back to standard but...

Can any one give me any ideas? Coming to work this morning the bike wouldn't rev over 4500rpm. All was well for the first 10 mile then it started. It runs lovely upto 4500 and then starts acting like its hit the rev limiter and the EFI light is on all the time. I carried on the other 50 mile...

Guy's i have a bog stock 2003 mille and the red line is at 8000 rpm that sounds a bit low,what should it be at. Thank's in advance...............ozz
