questions

Is it normal not to see a level in the oil tank when the bike hasn't been ran in months? does the bike have a slipper clutch as std? im sure i've read somewhere that they have an air operated slipper clutch the 03 rsvr ce what front mudguards fit it? as they have a funny little adjuster...

Obviously new to this thing and I am in a "quandry" on what to purchase. I want a bike I can afford to maintain and or fix if there is a problem (unlike the bmw,ducati) I have my heart set on a sport touring bike and think the rsv futura is awesome. My only other options are the VFR and Sprint...
