Can I replace my (early model but '06 reg) Tuono headlight/fairing unit etc, with the unit of the later model Tuono?:dunno

Looking at the badger mod pictures i have a question. why do you seal the KN filter on the top to make it higher and afterwards deal with the airbox lid sealing? can't this be meade more efficiently like this? maybe i am missing the whole idea behind this mod so can somebody explain please?

Just washed the bike this week, and there seems to be some vertical 'play' in the steering damper (when looking from the front). Should there be any at all? or should it ONLY move side to side? One for the more experienced out there....! Thanks in advance. :-)

I'm in the middle of replacing the headraces on my bike. When I got it apart, it already had tapers in it but there is a spacer washer between the lower bearing seal and the bottom yoke. Should this be refitted? I can't see it on the parts fiche and the new bearing kit didn't come with one...
