oil

Hi all, quick question. Changing my fork oil but unsure what weight oil to put back in? The manual says anything between 5w to 20w which isnt very helpfull. Its a 2004 track bike with showa forks. Any advice on the air gap too? Cheers Rich

Hi gang I know it must have been asked before but can I change the oil & filter by warming the bike up on It's stand, or is it best to take her for a run then do it. Only asking because I do no want to take her out until weather picks up. Thanks Unotuono:thumbup

I am still trying to fix my clutch slippage. I have some new Barnett Springs and a supposedly revised pressure plate from Af1. Do I absolutely have to drain my oil to swap this stuff in? I thought I read somewhere that it is not necessary if u use the kickstand.

Afternoon all, currently replacing the fork seals on my gen2 Factory. The manual says to use 500ml of 5w Ohlins oil, is this right? 5w seems a bit light to me or is it that the Ohlins forks work different and only need this oil. Many thanks

i know this has been done before but could someone give me the definative answer to oil level checks ? From cold first thing in the morning the oil level is precicely half way through the window. Go out for a good 20 minute ride, stop and check level with bike upright and engine not running...
