Hi everyone, I'm looking to,upgrade the shock on my 2004 RSVR from the stock Sachs unit to the Ohlins shock found on the factory. I have found one but says it if it 07 bikes onwards. There aren't many differences are thee and they still use the same linkage. Does anybody know if this will fit...

Bike is an Aprilia RSV Mille R 2000/1 with the axial mount front calipers using Ohlins forks... I understand front compression adjustment is in one fork, whilst rebound adjustment is in the other....which side is which please ? My handbook is less than helpful for the "R" ! :confused...

noticed oil on rear shock so sent it off to Revs suspension ,and they found crack on the top mounting point (not got it back yet so not 100% sure where from) but he has ordered one off Ohlins £90 and they have said that they have sold three of them ,anybody else had a problem :dowhat
