my 02 rsvr is a right bastard for getting into neutral, has anyone got any tips on getting into neutral easier? It just goes from 1st to 2nd and only by chance will it ever go into neutral after trying for ages. :-(

having problem finding neutral, have tried going into neutral from 1st and second gear it makes no difference. bike is 02 with only 9500 miles. anybody had the same problem and how to fix it cheers dave

Just fited my mpl clutch slave cylinder this morning and it has made the clutch feel a fair bit lighter but its still hard to get it back in to neutral but as my bike is an 06 model I thought it has the "better" jet is that right? Is there anything else I could try? Cheers Matt

I changed the clutch oil jet and took out the wrong bolt at first .It pissed oil for a bit .Started the bike today and it seemed a bit noisy for a while , but the oil light didn't come on ..After a while riding , the neutral light came on and is staying on ,, Any ideas ?

I'm getting a bit of grief from my gearbox, new shape RSVR. It's getting increasingly difficult to find neutral and the shift into first is clunky as well. On the move it all seems OK. Should I be worried or do "they all do that, guv."?

Been reading the thread on the 40 jet mod to help bike find neutral a lot better.I dont have a big problem with it,but feel it should be better to find. Because the bike covered was a 04 model,would the same apply to my 2001 1000r model.

A'righty..I searched the forume and came up with nothing.. I have a 2000 RSVR and the thing is awesome! However, while braking while coming to a light when I downshift I find that when in second going into first.. no matter how hard i shift it goes automatically into neutral... I wouldn't mind...
