Yamaha solenoid seriously i've had all sorts of startign problems as you all know, got my new yam solenoid today, put it on and started her 4 or 5 times in a row and fired first time well worth the 28 quid one happy chap

A friend of mine mentioned to me that he has recently done the "Brown connector mod" on this 06 RSVR as his has burnt out, it now starts alot better. Can this mod be done on the earlier RSV ?, anything to increase the voltage when starting has to be good thing on these bikes !!!
