need help with this mystery. i have an 04 RSV-R. i have to bleed the master clutch cylinder every other day or so. it's not leaking fluid, it just takes on air to the point that the lever squeezes right to the bar. I've been told this happens to the cylinder and the only fix is to replace it...
Having just acquired a working back brake following the fitting of a set of Griff's excellent rearsets :thumbup I no longer have a need for the Aprilia heat shield for the master cylinder. If anyone wants it just pm me your address and I'll post it to you free!

This are from my bike, I dont need it anymore since I got the 4 pad caliper and I replaced the whole thing. Also bought new pads, just before the change.
The pads are DID zcoo sinter ceramic, they were recomended to me by my mechanic who also races his rsv and prefered this over brembos. And...

hi guys i am looking for some advice i think the seals are going in my clutch master cylinder and the hayns manual says there is no repair kit available does anyone know of anything that will do the job or do i really have to buy a complete new one

I have just put my 2002 RSV-R into the local garage for a service and to check the rear brake, apparently the seals have gone in my master cylinder but the seals aren't available seperately which means a new master cylinder. This doesn't sound right to me, can anyone give me...
ok fella's i have had my levers off today for maintainance etc and when i came to put the front brake lever back on i struggled with the rubber seal which slides over the push rod , i have nicked it and now need a new one .
do i have to buy a new master cylinder or can i get a new seal ??? and...
so using a steel bolt seemed to stop the drilling of the clutch shaft in the Master Cylinder however I just started having clutch problems again and it turned to be the shaft is getting shorter now!!! I extended the end of the shaft with a 50 mm custom made screw to fit and lubed it well...

Ive recently seen a couple of 04 onwards rsv's with what looks like Arrow Rearsets with the master cyclinder located on them as per what most bikes do.
Has any one done this? and could you give me a few pointers ie are the rearsets for the rsv and what master cylinder to use

my buddy said that if you use it with no fluid or with a lot of air it gets shot! is that true? we didn't bleed it properly yet and it doesn't hold any pressure... wtf? Also I scraped the ceramic in my rear caliper cylinders oh crap do I really need them? I'm using Copper EBC sintered...
