This is a job i've been meaning to do for ages, so i'm going to remove the rear suspension linkage on my 02 R and give it a good service and relube as it's never neen touched. I'm going to use 2 axle stands and a metal bar through the swingarm pivot on the frame to support the bike then remove...

I'll be removing the shock bolt sometime this week to get into a hugger screw that i snapped the head off (need to drill the b*stard out!) and wondered if, while i'm there i can lubricate the shock linkage? Is it easy, what's involved and what grease/lubrication...
As title says, shock linkage for 01-03 Mille.
Also can be used in conjunction with 01-03 Ohlins RSVR shock, to fit to a 98-00 bike (as I did) as I believe the later model linkage is slightly longer/shock shorter :dunno
