Link plates arrived today, fitted them this afternoon. lashed bike to the rafters in the garage. old plates off no trouble. decided to grease bearings, no problem until i loosened the nut on the left hand side of the frame to flat plate mount. didn't check the right side first. no bolt, recessed...

Come on then who's done the link pipe mod :dunno:eatcorn aparently it makes the gases flow better and gives more horses :confused

If anyone is interested AF1 have just received a new batch of link plates. they had sold out last week. ordered mine through my brother in the states on Wednesday.

A friend luckily walked away from his Factory wreckage when the link plates holding the rear shock failed suddenly. Luckily there was nothing coming the other way and he was only doing 130-140kph. Any one else know of this happening?
