hi. can anyone tell me if it is possible to switch from the oem ignition coils to any direct ignition coils? Mine is a 00 RSV but once i've upgraded with the 06 heads,i only need 2 coils,and thought it would be a interesting upgrade. thanks

Hi Does anyone know what type of ignition coils are used on the RSV 1000 Factory? Are they CDI ( Capacitor Discharge) or the more traditional style of Inductive Ignition? Also is it a Constant Charge or Constant Duty type of coil. I need this info to set up an aftermarket EMS on the enigne...

Looking for one of these after some dirty thief ruined mine. Thinking of just getting the barrell and using the same key for the others? Or the full lock set would be good. Cheers JT

Is it possible? :dunno I've had a look around the net/manual and the electrical diagram shows what wires go where, but nothing shows hows to get them back with the barrel. Theiving twots ripped them straight out of the base. Any help/ideas much appreciated :thumbup

Hi guys, Bit stuck... I've noticed that the ignition barrel is bolted in with two fastners to the top yoke...one can be easily removed from what i can see, but the other seems to be blank(obviously a security feature). Can it be removed? As i need to get it off to mount to a new top yoke!! Gav.
