During the week i had a problem with a melted brown connector between the Voltage reg/rectifier and the alternator. I was told this was a common fault and to replace the connectors and away you go.

anyone else noticed that the temp rises a lot quicker on the v4 than on the old twin? stop at lights for more than a few seconds and the temp starts going up towards 100c much quicker. is it just the fact that the bikes in a higher state of tune than the twin? on faster roads the temp is around...

The high beam switch on the handlebars ( the red one) is not working ive done everything to try and fix it but it comes on/off on its own:eek:

I have noticed a little annoyance when changing up gears, the revs dont drop when I roll off the throttle :pirate
Its only a problem at lowish speeds as I clutchless upshift at higher speeds.
need the red high/low beam switch from l/h switch, mine wont stay on. The switch does disassemble, cheapest option is a full switch of flea-bay for £22.00 inc p&P.
