Hi all, been searching the forums but cant find any solutions to my problem. I've started racing this year on a 2000 Rsv. It was running great until the last meet when its started getting really hard to get the bike into 4th/5th/6th. I can get it into the gears but it requires a LOT of effort...

Hello everyone I am new to your party ! has anyone ever fitted a digital gear indicator ? and was it a pain to programme with the impossible to find neutral, cheers BT

do i have to strip half the bike down... or is it easy for a numpty like me... or leave it to a expert !? :confused

Anyone had any success fitting a Biketronic gear indicator? Just fitted one and all went fine including the programming. However the indicator only shows the correct gear when the engine is turning at about the same rpm as when it was programmed.

just bought/picked me RSV 02 up tonight... got onto north circular... sitting @ 4-4500rpms felt very happy & smooth... changed to 5th gear & it didnt like it in the slightest... felt really chuggy... i didnt even bother with 6th... so 4th gear for about 8 miles... with occassional playing in...

Has anyone fitted one of these to the T?? I have looked in various mags/catalogues etc and not found one for the tuono....is this because they don't make em for it or just not listed??? Any help much appreciated....and happy easter to you all!!!! :)

I have noticed a little annoyance when changing up gears, the revs dont drop when I roll off the throttle :pirate Its only a problem at lowish speeds as I clutchless upshift at higher speeds.

Hi newbie here embarking on buying a tuono, just been to see a 2004 1000r today but the gear shift pattern was reversed ie 1 up and the rest down. Can anyone shed any light on this ? It didn't have the external linkage to modify to this pattern just the lever straight in to the box Cheers Tim
