cut

I have an 03 RSVR that I've recently acquired. I've heard that the U.S. bikes have a wire that can be cut to boost HP considerably. Is this true and if so how do I know if mine has been cut or not...where is it located? Any details/info would be most appreciated! Thanks, Pete :thumbup

Over the past couple of weeks of ownership of my first Ape (love that name, which I learnt on here BTW :rotfl) she has cut out on me 4 or 5 times before getting up to temp. Starts on the button no prob, but it happened twice tonight on my run from work. Is this normal or do I need the valves...
