just done chain, noticed that its on the sixth marker on the block ,need to know how many marks there are to see how much life is left in chain cheers

Need to tighten the chain up but before I butcher owt is there a locking pin or summat, all my previous bikes had a split pin through a castle nut but cant see anything like it on my spindle nut, surely it cant just be a case of undoing the nut!

Does anyone know what the correct width across the chain connecting link is on a DID 525 chain???? I don't want to pinch it too much and make the link stiff. I am using a chain riviting tool. I have been told the width across the link should be 17.4mm when press fitting, before riviting it...

Im running 520 15/44 on a 2005 RSVR. Love the power delivery of this and want to keep it the same. The sprockets are in good order but the chain has seem better days and need replacing. Im after a cheap good 520 chain for the bike. WHen the sprockets need replacing, Im going back to 525 so...
