Awright loons, just splashed oot, at long last, oan a full set R&G crash protectors.
Any feedback, probs tae watch oot fur or difficulties in fitting said doodahs that ah should ken aboot before startin? (which ah wull dae as soon as they actually arrive!)

I have looked on the forums for a how to do thread, on fitting the lower rear mounted crash bungs.
I seem to think there was a good thread on the subject on the pre crash site, if you have fitted a pair how did you captivate the inside nuts. Do you have to modify a spanner???????:confused:

These were bought off fleabay about 2 months and on the bike for about a week then sitting in the garage since. Took them off as I got some R&G's when got my carbon infills and they come with 2 sets.
These are for the rear/lower engine mounts
Like new, in the pic there is condensation on...
Guys I am looking for pictures of where to fit a set of crash bungs to my bike. I got a free set from a mate but the the thread on the bolt is too big for that on the bike. He assured me they were for a 2008 latest model.

Due to selling my Mille, i've taken back off a few very recently fitted mods. Theres a new carbon 'Hooked' airbox (with all the bits as hooked sells them £80.00 (Saving of £60.00) and a pair of brand new R&G bungs £40.00. (Saving of £30.00). They're the long ones that fit around the rear swing...
Guys, I've been trying to fit a set of these, got the left side on and it's fouling the fairing side panels which won't line up, seems like the cutout in the bung isn't machined deep enough anybody else had the same problem? Or am I being a knob?

how did you a get the old bolts out i presume you somehow wangled a socket on to the inner nyloks??
