battery

Has anyone managed to fit a YTX 14 BS battery in a 2004 or 2005 Mille? I bought one to replace the YTX 12 BS thats in there and it is approx 1 cms higher and won't go in the tray or let me refit the holding plate. I am sure there is a way to get it in, Dan

Is my battery shagged, I charged it enough the other day for it to start, then rode for an hour, I have left it a week and it won't start again, it was fine before the winter break,or could it be I just did not ride fast enough last week to give it any charge :(

Only had my bike a week or so and have noticed that its been a bit slugish to start, which i thought might just be a v twin thing. Just been out for a ride 40 - 50 miles stopped for a *** and it would not turn over when i tried to start it. Pushed it to the nearest car garage and they jumped it...

got up this morning to go to work started her up will not fire up FLAT BATTERY :dunno,was starting fine on saturday with no problems then we had the snow on sunday and now she will not start got the battery on charge now so see how it goes. is this a common thing with the rsvr.

had plenty of v twins always had battery trouble to start the big lumps. but had trickle charger of ebay for £13 problems no more.the one from dennings diy

Planned a nice run out on the RSV today so popped the battery on charge last night and whacked it on this morning. Fired up first press no problem. Then switched off and reset the clocks etc. got my gear on then bugger me it won't start. Engine turns over fine but won't fire up. Battery...
