Quality matey :biggrin do you have an idiots guide on how to use photoshop ? i have it loaded on the laptop but aint got a clue how to use it :roll
i'll put a quick how to here:
1. right so get your best pic, and find a picture of your favourite GP hero in a picture with roughly the same angle as your (the more similar the angle the better it will look!)
2. now open both pictures in Photoshop, now on the pic of yourself, you need to cut around you and your bike, you'll need the Polygonal Lasso Tool for this (on the toolbar 2nd one down on the left).
3. To use the tool, simply click and in short steps click all the way around, you'll notice a line following all your clicks until you return to your very first click, once you go all the way round, your image has been cut, now while its still selected, on the toolbar click the top right tool (the Move tool).
4. click and drag your bike into the picture of your GP hero, now you need to do 2 things here, adjust the size and the brightness/contrast and sometimes saturation of the colour to match it to the backgrounds, you'll have to play about to get it right.
5. once you think you've got the resizing and colour adjustment right, sit back abit and make sure it doesnt look out of place as you may have gone over the top with the colour adjust so double check it.
6. file > save as > jpeg, and you've got your very own GP rider arse kicking picture.
sorry for thread jacking lol.
google is your best weapon, there are loads of free tutorials, i think there is even a forum for tutorials on the official website, unless you are computer savvy though alot of it will go in one end and out the other, photoshop is generally a professional's software choice, there are plenty of similar programs around which can do much the same in a more user friendly way (perhaps...)
sharky that pic is cool! where was it taken? reminds me of the bike fest in lincoln
Not the Aprilia i know but a nice pic from my tour of Scotland in 2002
