Planning to fit a set of Gilles variobars to a 2003 RSV Mille R (radial brake caliper model) and require longer brake lines.
I have noticed the standard braided clutch line and front brake lines are of the same material and have the same text printed on the outer to identify diameter etc. Given I have 2 spare clutch hoses I'm considering using these for the front brakes to provide a twin line set-up. The banjos appear to line up OK, it will provide way more than ample hose that is required, and save some serious £s.
Will this have a negative or even dangerous effect the performance of the brakes?
