World Superbike action this weekend comes from Brno, where riders are hot off a recent testing session at the former Soviet Block track. The Superpole results clearly speak to who did their homework, with fresh faces entering into the upper ranks. This Sunday should be set to have some good production motorcycle racing, and hey…if we’re wrong about that, there’s still eastern European umbrella girls, and that always makes people happy.
It should be no surprise by now that Spies has taken another Superpole victory. But, for the second time in a row, we see Max Biaggi eeking his way onto the front-row. He and the RSV4 are seemingly getting along well, and looking to make their move in the latter half of this season.
Also up closer to the front is BOTH BMW S1000RR’s. The BMW Factory squad clearly must have found a better setup during their practicing. Troy Corser will start from 6th place, while Ruben Xaus will be a row back in 7th.
