worlds largest chicken strips

Quote " that's because i ride like a girl! cheers"

Well that is honest of him.
Sounds like a few on here then...

Seems like the T is too much for him.

I think though they must be new tyres as its got 2500 on the clock.

I replaced mine a few weeks ago that were nackered after 2500 miles, and they certainly didn't look like those on ebay!

Yes they were a bit squared off, but hardly at all as I bust a gut to avoid motorways or dual carriageways. And my 'chicken strips' were right on the edge not half-way - and I don't pretend to be the most enthusiastic of leaners, but after 2500 miles surely you've leaned over a little bit :)

Why can we not pick up on the so called " chicken Strips "?

We should let people ride their own bike how they want and not set targets.

Some may end up dead trying to use more of the tyre.

You don`t have to go fast to wear the tyre to the edge though.

Couldn't agree more Hector. This is part of the reason I don't join ride outs. I ride relatively slowly with my kids in my thoughts but I still enjoy the ride.

Wouldn't say I ride particularly fast just go at the speed I enjoy. That can differ whenever I go out. Sometimes I like to have a look around, last time I went out with Stix at one point I put my head down and gave it a really good rattle on an open road with no cars. Thing is we all live in different parts of the country. I live in an area where I'm on twisties straight away. My chicken strips are gone after about 5 miles of gentle riding just due to the roads.

I tend to have a look at mine at the end of a ride sometimes but just out of curiosity. I'm not worried about the size of them. However, the ones on ebay look quite big

everything that everyone has said is right....but.....****** if i'd be seen out with fanny wings that big !!
If you aint gonna lean a bike over buy a goldwing or a half a massey furgeson..

I live in the country of straight roads. Alberta was settled a LOT ******* later than auld Blighty so our highways didn't start off as meandering cowpaths. ****. Our country side is laid oot as a grid with two mile divisions for east west and one mile divisions for north south. Soooo the only twisties really are around lakes (heavily populated) or in the great Rocky Mountains! (I believe I have posted some piccies of my mountain adventures).
I make a point of riding to have fun. Apparently my idea of fun is scary to some, bland to others. I DO tilt my gal intae corners and gas hard coming out. I DON'T split cars in a frenzied attempt to show off to my riding companions. The nature of our roads does lead to squared off tires. I do my best to remedy that with trips to the mountains and finding odd places to go for a twisty blast. The bendy roads that you folk in the UK possess give me a chubby. As well as the amount of Aprilias there and other T riders as well...

Burn off the chicken strips lads... or get an auld mans bike...

it can be the tyre that determinds the size of the chicken strips, if you dont have full confidence in them there's no way you're gonna lay it right over. i aint the fastest but am at the edge of my 207s

Help yourself.....

:yes

I done more miles since 1st April when I got me new T . Just posted photos of me GPR exhaust with new back tyre scrubbed in tonight that have got smaller fanny strips than them.

nice.

"it can be the tyre that determinds the size of the chicken strips"

it looks like he has fuggin racetechs or rennsports on, there that sticky you could get your shoulders down let alone your knee

I just think he should serve his bike apprenticeship and work up to a T like others, then he might enjoy it rather than be scared of it.
its like passing your car test and getting a 911 as your first car
