Hi,

I've only owned my Tuono for a little over a month now and I'm getting pissed off, if you need to purchase something after market such as crash bobbins I want to purchase some £31.99 for any other bike soon as you say I have a Tuono price jumps to £76.79 same with R&G, this is the same with everything say I have an Aprilia and they dump another £30+ on top.

Mini rant over, so how's your day? :crazy

Currently looking for new tyres, and found some good prices

.....but haven't told anyone they are for an Aprilia :)

The secret is dont tell em you are SUPERSTARDJ0

What tyres are you going for Wes ?
I put some Dunlop D209 sportmax qualifiesrs on last weekend, have to say they are decent. £180 the pair fitted at my local bike shop.

...they probably recon that if we're stupid enough to own an Itallian bike, we're stupid enough to pay stupid prices.

Toying with BT-23's at the moment...
£180 fitted is a good price for decent tyres, seen a few good deals around but they appear to be on discontinued tyres so bit worried about the DOT

Just read this from the Dunlop site....100 miles my arse
Note: When new tires are fitted, they should not be subjected to sudden acceleration, hard cornering, maximum power or braking for at least 100 miles. Failure to do so may result in loss of control and serious injury. The 100 mile run-in is required to adjust to the feel of new tires versus the worn tires.

I had these fitted to my zx6 and a mate has them and they did take roughly 80-100 miles till they felt ok, before hand they were very slippery.

wate till the bike brakes down as mine as £1400 for a new ecu and only for the part fitting on top of that on a bike thats dun 13000 miles ffs rant over.

I got to the bottom of the road, thinking about gilo a couple of weeks earlier. Got to the main road forgot about the new tyres then let it rip.
Mind you it was a fairly warm day , roads were bone dry late in the afteernoon, all these things have to be taken into consideration.

Now that could have been expensive if it all went wrong

R J motorcycles, Always try and give the business to the local shop if i can

Cheers mate, got the wifes bike booked in there for MOT next week, I've just put a CT2 on the back of mine to match the front.
Had dunlops on my 955i Daytona and they were good, will maybe try them on the T next time round.

just put some 023's on mine and gota say they are excelent and hope they give me more than the 1600 miles that the 014's did
well recomended:thumbup

Pilot power on mine. Like them well enough. Ive always had Pirelli Diablo's on my other rides. When these go Ill go back and try them. Dont skimp and buy ***** tires. They make a huge difference in handling and rideability.

Just blootered the last milage oota the qualifier 2s oan mine this week. Been absolutely perfect dry an wet an reckon got nearly 1000miles mair than last rear so well happy. Have got set o the Dunlop sportsmarts lined up fur fitting tuesday next week, they seem well rated in the reviews

My Tuoldo came with Dunlop 207s wasn't sure about them at first but they are far better than the 014s I've been running before. Might just be the style of bike, only got 1500 miles oot of a pair on the Blade:no
