well, we've had a couple cold days here, and my R1 is tucked away in the heated basement for the winter. Who else has hung up their helmet for the season? Who is crazy like BP and still riding? (California folks, you can go die already :p)

I will ride whenever its a nice day. No point riding if its going to make me wet, cold and not enjoy it. Other than that I will get the old girl out when I see fit..

I road my BMW all year round with heated grips. Super Corsa IIIs on my RSVR just don't warm up too fast in the winter and I have had some close calls with them, so I will ride only if it is warm and dry :)

The Mille's getting some mods but should be back the road by Jan '08. The KTM LC4 will get thrashed and abused com hell or high water:eek:

Bollox 'Hell or High Water' Probably not a good term to use this morning:biggrin
Every road in GY shut, 3 rivers burst there banks and shed loads of people evacuated, at least we made it past high tide without getting flooded????Yet!!!!

:stupid same here.. Except now it's a bit different. As my Raptor is for sale I don't go on rides often anymore because I'm afraid something could happen to it :laugh But rest assured, when I finally get the RSV that's waiting for me so patiently and seductively, there's no stopping me :devious

Of course, it could be May when I get her :laugh :(

As stated in another thread, bike is always ready to go year-round, BUT I do avoid really crappy weather and it's not always appropriate to use the bike for work...However, I hate that 'should have come on the bike' feeling when you're sitting in traffic, getting anywhere seems to take forever and you watch all the bikes filter past effortlessly!!

So buy a cheap supermoto and some fun when the weathers *****:biggrin

Same here, out and about all year unless the roads are smothered in salt:thumbup, we all know salts bad for us :pirate

i commute every day. ride at weekends if its dry and clean her religiously every sat morning to get rid of salt grunge and dirt....
i only use the car if
a. i'm carrying something heavy, other than my own fat arse
b. its icy/snowy

but i much prefer to be out in sunny hot weather........

but i get withdrawl symptoms if i dont get out on a bike for a couple of days

Tax runs out this month, so away for the winter.:no

Got to make sure the RSV doesn't have too much salt in her diet.

If only I could talk the management into letting me spend some more money on a winter hack. :bitchslap

Love to but house moving is looming and it's gonna be a stretch holding onto the RSVR never mind buying more mechanical goodies!!:devious

you want to get yourself a horse with 4 legs and 1 HP instead of 1 with 130HP they go anywhere anytime

Yes indeed like this one :devious

If the sun's out...I'm out

If the sun's in...I'm out :biggrin

Bikes are there for riding not collecting dust :eatcorn

It gets cold here, we get snow sometimes, and they dump a ***** load of salt on the roads here and they never come clean until May. So my season is pretty much done.
