wheel alignment

Hi,

Just been out to re-tightening my chain, using a strait edge and a 30mm stock bar to allow for the 120-180 profiles, and i have come back in confused.
Along the drive chain side it is perfect but along the other side there is a 10mm gap all the way along the front wheel.
There must be a simple solution but i just can't see it

Please put me out my confusion.

I dont understand what your getting at. Your obviously trying to measure the alignment but can you explain how your measuring?

Have you fitted all the wheel spacers correctly?

Here's a procedure for aligning the wheels of a bike fitted with the Gilles wheel adjusters. The procedure's very similar - even if you don't have these adjusters. Maybe it'll help...?
