I`ll second that one Al..............you can`t sell it, I`ve just voted for you in November ROTM !! :dunno:biggrin

No, seriously mate, good luck with the sale........somebody`s going to get a cracking Mille there. :thumbup

Alan, what you got your eyes on mate? I know a 2008 one but any particular colour etc?

You know I love you all like my own family but it's time to move onwards and upwards, I love the old shape Mille but I fancy a change.

Don't worry guys I'll never be RSV less. :thumbup

Got a beady eye on this:

i think he realised that blue was not the way forward!

not sure about all the gold, it looks bling but in a 'gold taps on an expensive yacht' type of way. over the top.

Great looking bike al, Im going to put my Red Mille on Pistonheads tomorrow, let the competion begin :devious:devious:devious

Don't tell the missus but I'm gonna try and keep the old one if possible and run both of them. :doug

As much as I fancy changing bikes this coming year, I think I'll be keeping hold of the old girl for now as I have my eye on one of these babies for next year when they hit the shops :-

As far as I can tell, prices start at @£3.5k or thereabouts. Never have I lusted after a roadbike since I first saw the Pinarello Prince, but the Dogma above just screams "Buy me!!!". :biggrin

FFS £3.5K and you have to pedal the fecker. :dunno

3.5k ? That is so ...WRONG

I could have bought my Mille twice for that and kept them both in petrol for months!!

To be fair though m8, if it is "Your thing" then it is "Your thing". Cycling is a passion of mine and hence it's my "Thing". :biggrin

You pay for what you get, just like motorcycling. My current bike is an entry level Pinarello FP1 and it rushed me £1k. I've no problem contemplating spending upwards of £3.5k on a roadbike. Mind you, the missus has an issue with it but then again she doesn't understand either. :dunno :biggrin

Is that from a certain dealer in Bradford?

If it is, someone has put a warning sign on Squires notice board warning people about buying from this company..Can't remember what it said, but sure it was along the lines of making sure you do a check on the bike and saying NOT TO BUY from them..

If I'm near Squires I'll pop in and check if still there.

It is mate and if you could find out about that warning it would be great. :thumbup

I would be doing all the checks before I buy anyhow but if the company has a poor reputation then it may not be worth the hassle.

I'm quite pissed as well, I was in Liverpool/Manchester on Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and if I'd spotted this then I could have popped across for a viewing. :dunno

AMB67 - not sure which Bradford dealer it is at but there are 2 there that you may want to avoid. Let us do it via PMing, so not to malign anyone in public.

Sorry mate - there's no middle ground - you're either LCC or MAG. Ecologically, fine, but there's not place for treaders in a modern transport system - especially outside major cities. You can see that when the local club run cycle races along the A303 on summer evenings during the rush hour. That's one of the UK's major trunk routes, a stretch of dual carriageway where car speeds average 70-90MPH and they're racing bicycles along it - very fecking sensible eh?
And why is it not illegal for them to race on a public highway, powered or not?
