Whats the worst bike you've had!!!!

197 Villiers engine.
Bought it as a field bike when I was about 13.
******* thing had a mind of it's own.
Hard to start, hard to stop, hard to get parts for. pain in the arse all round.
It caught fire one afternoon, I was so fed up with it, I threw half a gollon of diesel onto it...just to make sure.
My dad wasn't happy...he thought I'd torched it deliberately.
 
Aye T, purely accidental wae the diesel,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Da I thought it wiz water,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Honest.

I had a ZX6 too and hated it!....it was px within 3 months.

I had a fazer 600 and a fazer 1000 afterwards and they were both epic!

Love my Tuono too though.
 
Hi, worse in what way that is the question.
Honda CB250K4 my first bike,great little bike apart from the way it used to eat cam chains and associated parts!
XS650s three of, heavy bike great apart from the vibes.
Back into biking after a 15 year break with two Moto Guzzis, cramped riding position and top heavy feel handling wise but looked like a real motorbike with it's old air cooled lump.
BMW 1150Rs great bike no faults.
Tuono 1,000 not much amiss with that one, big mistake selling that one!
K1200R and now K1300R no faults with these two apart from the sky high servicing costs!
I've liked all of the bike I've owned but I suppose out of them all I suppose the Guzzi was the worst, only maybe cause the first one broke down when it was only a few hundred miles old and had to be trailered back to the dealers. Regards Dave.
 
My worst 2 were 69 bonnie and 76 bonnie , they just kept blowing up? same happened to my Dot 197 trials bike. Just me I guess.

lol....Ali....here's one.
Many years back I had a mate who got himself an apprenticeship at a local garage.
Hillman Avenger comes in, an exhaust bracket had come away from the underside.
It needed welding back on, but for safety's sake, the carpets needed to come out, to reduce the fire risk.
Mechanic in charge decides to take a short cut, and weld it with the carpets in...a bit at a time to prevent things getting too hot.
Anyway, my mate is told to sit in the car, while the mechanic is under the car in the pit doing the welding
Mate is told to keep an eye out for any signs of smoke coming from the floor area....and if he spots any to shout out.
Forgot to say...said mate was also a dozy ******, who gets out of car to answer phone leaving bloke under the car welding on his own.
Needless to say, the carpets caught fire....and there was a huge panic....alarms....the whole lot.
While the mechanic was sprinting to the far end of the workshop to grab a foam extinguisher...my mate grabbed a fire bucket nearby and hurled the contents into the car.
What he didn't realise at the time was that the fire bucket had been used to catch diesel from another vehicle being worked on.
He threw in about half a gallon.
The heat was so intense, they just managed to push the burning car/inferno out of the building before it set fire to everything.
Two fire engines came out, the car was ******, and my mate got his cards.....but could still see the funny side.

Absolute worst, Yamaha xs650c. All the failings of a British and a Jappanese motorcycle in one.
Next worst Kawasaki gpz1100B1. It didn't have a throttle , just on on/off switch.
 
Got to be the 2004 KTM 660 SM I had before the tuono, great fun and very quick on the twisties but would only start when it felt like it and only had kick start!!

For me its got to be my old Suzi van van 125, 0-60 was sometimes. If you did manage to get it past 60 and hit any sort of bump the frame tried to pull itself apart, The pegs scraped the ground when you cornered hard and the tyres where like plastic.

Having said that; it was a commuter and i rode it like a supermoto, it never broke down and i didnt even see any tyre wear in 10,000+ miles of abuse so it wasnt that bad really :thumbup
 
after some thought, ive decided the worst bikes i,ve owned are the ones i didnt look after, so says it all really.

but saying that, i had a bultaco sherpa T, cost me a ******* fortune, the only way i could get it to start was to heat the spark plug on a gas burner, put it in with pliers.... then nip up..

not the routine yer need when it was me only transport at the time..
 
My first bike, a '69 Kawasaki F4 250. Couldn't get it to run for **** and with no battery, the magneto kept frying the headlamp. Granted, it was pretty abused when I first got it, but it was all I could afford at the time.
 
I havent had many bikes, but what i have had are in this order. Yamaha DT125, Kawasaki GPX250, Honda CB400 Super4/Big One, Kawasaki ER5 (to share with the missus), Honda CBR900RR and now the Tuono 1000r. Ive loved them all especially the DT which I learned on and the Fireblade which was awesome... I'm beggining to really really like the Tuono and that may ovetake both the DT and the Blade on my list of best bikes... But the worst for me was the ER5, nothing wrong with it apart from it being dull and boring oh and at times a little boring and perhaps dull.

lol....I had the engine out of one of those in a go kart when I was kid.
wickedly fast, but a pain in the arse to crank up.
would have bastid heart failure trying to start it today...:lol
did you not whip the plug out & hurl in a petrol can cap full of juice in too?

Really the only troublesome bike I've had wasa Gilera Nordwest.
When it ran it was great not particularly fast handled well and was way ahead of its time, but it had so many little problems, it had a foam air filter from factory and it got old and the glue perished so one day as I was riding along it sucked the foam into the carb!
Then the sprag clutch went,
Then the fork seals,
Then the brake master cylinder,
And on and on.
I bought it as an in between bike just to tide me over it nearly bankrupt me.
