What's It Worth?

But in reality its got nothing to do with the accident previously mentioned.:dunno

Yes that's part of it. The grip in my left hand is quite weak and I find that I am having to slip the clutch a lot around town. The TL riding position was probably more extreme and uncomfortable but I fitted a hydraulic clutch conversion and because it pulled comfortably from 2,000rpm it was much easier to ride at slow speed.

I've already fitted a 16 tooth front sprocket and didn't notice a huge difference. I still don't think it's a gearing issue - the motor is just not as happy below 4,000rpm as the TL was and I guess I've got used to that and now I miss it. As I've said before I'd love a TL motor in the RSV chassis :devious

Try a 15 tooth front to make 15/42 tantrum, it's nigh on identical to 16/44 which is considerd the best gearing option for pre 2003 RSV mille and mille R. RSV''s are so over geared as standard and the engine does struggle at low revs on standard gearing. I'm sure this will help cure the low speed running. If you have a clutch issue too, try fitting an MPL clutch slave cylinder. This makes the clutch much lighter to use
