Well the Mille's going up for sale and was wondering how much to put it up for :dunno

Prices seem to vary so much from Autotrader to Ebay etc. so thought I'd ask on here, seeing as you guys are the RSV experts.

It's a '00 registered in '01. Two previous owners. 9.5K miles. New MOT. Tax till November. New Avon Sport tyres. New Battery. Iridium Plugs. Seat Hump. Comes with Titanium Race Pipe & Chip. Modded side panels plus originals. Manual. Pretty Good Nick.

What do you reckon?

Cheers, Guys.

Yes Dave I know you want the seat :biggrin you have first dibs. I'm taking some pics tomorrow for the ad and I'll stick the seat hump back on.

i would put it in for 28-900 and let the other person work for the money off, as its a nice milie mate

I'm selling because I was hit by a car last year and my left arm is pretty ****** up and it is painful riding an RSV so I thought I might try a Falco. After reading your post I think I might buy a Jap bike after all :biggrin.

what is that a tantrum for tantrum??

sorry you are getting rid of such a lovely bike 2200 is a steal... shame i already got a mille :nana

what is wrong with riding the mille? is it the heavy clutch or just the riding position... there are a number of ways to sort both to be more comfortable, and it could be worth test riding a tuono :dunno

The clutch is fine - the TL I had before was a heavy clutch! The riding position is OK. What I can't get on with is the poor bottom end response of the engine. With the TL with anything above 2,000rpm I could just whack open the throttle and instant power. With the RSV unless there's more than 4,000rpm it just bogs down. What's the point of a big V-Twin if you can't 'THUD THUD' at low rpm :dunno

change the sprockets and i swear you will change your mind about selling it!

these bikes are really over geared as standard thats why you will see on here many owners change the front and rear sprockets, i can tell you from experience they make a BIG difference and my RSV is fine at 2500rpm

I agree :thumbup for a small outlay of a few quid might be all you need to find what your looking for in a bike, at least you'll know either way if the RSV is the bike for you :pirate

tis true mate,i dropped a tooth on the front and its tons better around town ect, lots more bottom end and no were near as lumpy.
£20 is all it took.

To be honest I think what you are asking for is about the right money. You don't fancy a nice '04 Factory instead do you?
