After having 2 RSV R's, i'm thinking of changing over to the mightly Tuono :thumbup
(Been a member here for a while, but little posting, more like watching :))

Anyway, a mate of a mate, is looking to sell his 2008, 100% standard Tuono.. low mileage and owned it from new... (black / Grey Model)
Only thing is, it's been standing for the last 18 months in a shed.. so taking into account what it might cost to get it back on the road (Service, Battery, seal etc etc) what's it worth ??

He's not interested in doing the donkey work, just want to sell as is...

Any thoughts / comments welcome :)

Cheers

ye need tae dae yer homework on the likes o the MCN website etc then deduct a bitty for the re-commissioning and tax n MOt etc. Prices are hudin up well though due to the whole "naked" boom.

£4k is indeed too much. Personally I think 3500 is optimistic too. I'd be taking another 350 off that.

There's several on ebay for 3750- 4000 that are less work and hassle.

I am thinking of selling mine, its blue and white 58 plate with 10258 miles on it
Its got Arrow cans , seat cowl R & G exhaust hangers, and just had a brand new road smart on the rear
However, I want 4300, but for that you would get all original parts plus paddock stand and optimiser

Cheers Mate, but the one i'm considering is in Ireland, so will save me having to travel or the cost of getting it collected.... if it doesn't work out, i'll get in touch :)
Thanks again to all for the help and advise !!

Hi mate, I think I am looking at the same bike, is it the one in South Dublin with akra exhausts?

£3500 seems around ballpark figure (after lots of looking) and it need not have loads of miles either, nearly went gen 2 route myself a few month back. Though I did upsell myself to a Factory model, and now looking V4!! TBH, give it a month or two before buying and get a winter price bike.

And if it were this time next year, I'd happily pay 4,000 for a good blue and white gen 2....just skintos until then. ..God damn house renovating lol
