Haven't been on here for some time but going to get shot of my bike. Just wondering with to sell it complete or take all the parts of. Also what are they going for. The online I've seen for sale is up for £6995. While I would love that sort of money for it I think it's miles away from what is worth. Mines a 04 plate with about 6k miles on the clock. A1 condition with hex carbon akros Gilles rear sets. Upgraded Calipers and Pfm discs. Full r&g kit. Suede seat double bubble screen. Few other bits and pieces. Comes with all the STD kit plus the carbon airbox. Any ideas what I should be asking for it.

I've seen them go for as low as 3k and as much as about 4.5k (the online figure you quoted seems way out - but hey if its a 0miles brand new bike then its a great deal!) I would say you should be asking the top end without the mods on - sell them separately as you'll get back some of what you spent on the mods. IMO the mods might make it a bit more attractive to the 1 or 2 that want them but you won't get anything extra for them.

cheers
Deacs :thumbup

I was offered an 04 Haga about 3(ish) years ago for £5500 by a dealer, so knock a few quid off that (500-1000) and you won't be far off. And deffo sell the extras separately as they add nothing to the resale. :thumbup

Hope that helps

it'll be a shame to break but the truth of it is that it'll yield the most! If you do break I'll call dibs on the motor :thumbup

I think it would be an aweful shame to break that Bike up, 1 day there will be no originals left!!

Take the fancy ad-ons off & ebay them. Then Sell the Bike on in 1 piece mate :thumbup

You're missing the point somewhat :p.
I'm with everyone else. I think it'd be a tremendous shame to break a good bike.

04 edwards bike are a standard RSVR Factory with an edwards sticker on the tank. Not the official Edwards limited edition rep that came in 03 in the first gen shape with akra's and custom chip etc. Which have you got ?

The Edwards is lush. The problem is it will only really sell to a collector or someone who specifically wants the Edwards rep - and for the money for (and a 9 year old bike) it is quite a bit to pay. You can pick up a RSV for £1800, the RSVR for £2300, the 2003 R for £2800 so the Eddy is considerably more for not much more bike to be honest.

To be fair I have riding a factory and a newer rsv and the Edwards does ride better than both.
