Sorry to sound sooo stupid..but I have only recently got my RSV and it came without handbook, what should front and rear tyre pressures be, it's fitted with Michelin Pilot Powers?
cheers in anticipation

NO NO please, not another tyre pressure thread!!

Im not saying anything! :nana

the manual says for pilot sport 2.3 bar front & 2.5 bar rear,
infact it says 2.3 bar front & 2.5 bar rear for all the tyres .

34 Front / 36 Rear for Mich Pilot Powers. Don't run them at 36F / 42R, they much prefer the lower pressures. Been running my 2CT's at 34/36 for years.

Cheers everybody.. I do realise tyre pressures aren't the most interesting topic, I also have a blackbird.. And they run better fooking hard!!

Where do you get these pressures from? The Michelin Website does not state any tyre pressures and just refer you to your manual...

Your owners manual and also there 'should' be a sticker on your swing arm. I run 32/33F and 36R with 2ct powers and it bites the road.

IMO its down to personal preference mate (within reason!), how your suspension is set up can matter, as well as what tyres you're using and what you're using them for. I recently fitted some metzeler racetecs to my 'R' and jeeeeees i nerly fell off the inside edge of the first corner i went round. super fast tip in so i dropped the front pressure by about 3 psi from the recommended 36, and just left 42 in the rear. front felt an awful lot better being a bit softer as the profile wasnt as triangular resulting and a slightly slower but a lot more stable tip in point. Just have a feel on the road with the standard pressures (nice and easy) ... and if one end feels a bit hard and un-responsive just drop psi by one or 2 and try again.
