Morning all!

I have recently brought a aprilia tuono 1000 r and want a new screen, I have seen a small carbon one on Ebay but cannot find it again?

Whos got what screens an what do they look like on?

Cheers Mark

Also anyone got any levers fitted to there bike other than Pazzo an ASV? Really dont want them but after something different.

Mark

I've got Puig screen and ASV levers on mine. Screen makes a difference at reducing some of the windblast.

Have a look back in the forums and you can see pictures of the Laminar screen Nobist fitted to his, from heroblobs about £70. Looks like a good addition or there are Puigs, HRA, just search on internet you'll get hits.

Its an Ermax mine mate from Doytchland, think it was 70 quid and took about a month to come. I've tried that and a Puig and none of them are much better than the standard one.

I put a slightly taller screen on mine and it stoppped the helmet lift I was getting above a ton.
Also for levers, have you checked out the Harris performance items

was it cold in the garage this morn yooz ?

that condensations a bugger.

Don't know if it's just me but I tend to dip me yed a bit and lean forward at speed so maybe thats why I haven't noticed that much difference between any of the screens.

Liz has an Ermax on hers, I am waiting for mine. I actually thought they came from the website's addy in Lincoln :no. If they're actually cloggers it might explain why I am still waiting for it to turn up. :dunno

I've ridden the Tuono back to back with and without the Ermax, the stock screen is fine up to about 90, but the Ermax is still good at about 125. :thumbup

most of the aftermarket ones are an improvement over stock..

having said that, IMO the best value for money + protection + looks is the ermax by far!

I put powerbronze on mine. I'm 6ft 5" tall and this is the only one that stoped wind vortex under the chin of my helmet.

On your recommendation i'm buying a Powerbronze today :)

I assume you're talking about the Double bubble ?

sorry guys but the gen1 from gen2 tuono is totally different bikes in terms of wind protection even from the factory.

Gen1 have by far better protection against wind..

Gen2 tuonos for tall guys are tricky and need a different screen if one needs to commute with ease!

I have the Powerbronze on my Gen 2 and it's nowhere near as tall as that, in fact it was only about an inch longer than the stock screen, just angled a bit further out.
