We find being offended quite difficult here mate :)

Offensive on the other hand is 2nd nature :)

Hope this worked and all arent offended with this being a T site:cheers

New to me. My dream cars are primarily Ford and Mopar ('67 'Stang and Firebird). The ultimate would be a marriage of Brit and Ford, namely a '67 Shelby 427 AC Cobra that makes me want to dry hump it's fenders it's so damn gorgeous.

Do I detect a set of dual down draft Webers?

Now you can see what delights England Ford was building in the early
70`s:yes

Like your choice of cars too but couldnt afford to run v8 muscle with our fuel prices.
The Webers are side draught so your only 90 degrees out mate:thumbup.

Thread has been well and truly hyjacked which wasnt my intention so best keep it two wheels eh.

Sweet Mexico - takes me back.

I used to road rally a Mk1 RS2000, 45mm DCOE side draughts and an Ex Tractor :) exhaust etc. Used to do about 9mpg, mostly sideways. Brilliant fun, sadly I sold my RS when I went abroad working, one of Fords better Euro cars ISTR.

Projects, recent and present.

Current job - to finish loft conversion abandoned in spring when the weather turned & it got too ferkin hot in the roof. Following on, sort my office at home, enlarge the bathroom & refit.

Previous years, built my own conservatory & linked the outhouses which are now the utility etc. New kitchen - back to bare walls, demolish chimney etc. re-plumb, re-wire, re plaster (well dry line).

Must get a bike to tinker with instead, it'll be cheaper :rolleyes

OOh, my Renegade airbox conversion arrived this morning. Should get that fitted, by April?? :dunno

Should get it fitted by 5pm !

:lol :cheers - I haven't even run it in yet. I will leave the cans/airbox off until the engine is fully broken in, then get the mapping swapped over to Map 2 & the TB's reset etc. Given what happened to Martin, sorry, Windy's bike i am going to extend the run in to about 1200-1500 miles before I really give it the berries. Should give the crank time to bed in fully. :thumbup

The Ti's are the best sounding cans ever. Tell me about the Renegade Paul.

There are two main types available, Evoluzione & Renegade.

Evoluzione, "Evo" airbox, This opens the system up by provinding a seal around the stock airbox lower against the tank. The underside of the tank now becomes the top of the airbox plenum chamber (remove the padding) giving a bigger volume of air for the engine to pull on.
Advantage - maintains the Ram air effect at high speed.
Disadvantage - fiter is on intake to chamber - bad seal = dust in engine

Renegade products "Rene" Air Box.
this replaces the whole airbox with a rather nicely made carbon fibre tray and an oil/foam filter.
Advantage - filter sits over air intake trumpets & induction roar is wicked.
Disadvantage - No Ram air effect.

I had the Evo on the Tuoldo as Jorge has moved to Portugal & I couldn't get hold of a Rene at the time. I think the Rene type better - I would rather protect my engine from dust than have a theoretical power boost at high speed.

There is a lad on the RSVzone who makes a copy of the Rene system - I think Andirsv posted about him in weeksy's track day mods thread.

I got this off Ebay from a lad in Wakefield for about the same money.

Cheers Paul. I now have a project. Gotta get some roar to match the blarp from the Ti's. Had a similar thing on the Falco. I calls it stereo:yes

Threadjacks are a way of life here. Sometimes ya gotta wonder what goes through our minds with the way some of the threads go askew.
Notice how nob is trying to turn this into a can thread.... again....

Well, got meself a project. Got a 1996 Fantic 250 Section of ebay. £450 from a chap in Sunderland. Not 100% sure of condition but it 'sounds a gud un'.
Don't know that much about em but its a go'er and on the road. Plan is to play on it for a while and do it up next year.
Let the grief comence.
