Hi, my RSV Mille is a year 2000 model (UK), I took off the right hand side long small panel under the seat/tank (don't know what to call it) as I had to raise the tank and found this lead which is disconnected, I can see the two end plugs one female and one male, just don't know what it is and hope some of you can shed some light.

Picture taken with phone, sorry about the quality, just thought to try show something at least to make this thread worth a little. :)

And yes I like bubble wrap and nylon tie strips :inlove, that plastic plug was pissing me off rattling about and didn't want to fix it to the frame as since I ride in the heavy rain aswell was afraid some water would run down the frame and into the plug.

Wires for diagnostics. If you get the famous EFI error :D. Normaly disconected, if you connect them and turn on the power of the bike (not start it) you will get an error number on the dash.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply, I searched on to my Haynes manual to no avail and kept worrying about it thinking it was something needed for the usual running of the bike. Didn't presume so since it runs ok with it unplugged.

I shall tidy it up and hide it somewhere around the loom then, cheers.:thumbup
