what is the air temp sensor

can anyone tell me what the air temp sensor ,mounted on the front fairing, on my 03 t is for , i understand what it is but what does it actually control

ahm none too share, but a think its the sensor fir the temp o the air,,,, i.e. brrrrrrrrrrrr its cauld,,,,,,,, phew its hot lololol
 
is it worth getting togged up or just shorts , T shirt and sandles. The Temp will help you decide.


































engine temp indicator, running too hot (76c +- normal )

Air/fuel ratio - it gives the ECU information.
 
Fuggin ell can't believe it. England2 just made me grin. That was very amusing keep it up :thumbup
 
hard to keep it up this weather, ah ha gives ecu info ta dude
