Hi all have not posted in quite a while but ive sold my mille and bought a 05 factory aprilia with only 1497kms on it its black with the big lion on it :doug, its the ducks nuts , but it has stock pipes still , was wondering what some of you guys think to put on it , iwant to go with a full system this time as ill be keeping this one for a while . Ive tried to upload pics but im dumb on computers so sorry , oh yeah the bike came from the states and has all this carbon stuff under the ducktail which im hoping to take off also is this possible ? Thanks

me too! Akrapovic all the way!!! I'm happy with my big Fat Stock Mono Pipe it always gets the looks and the chicks!! It think it's the biggest pipe on the streets!!!
Try and Undertail if you are in to stunting/wheelies and a Mono Tuono Swingarm to go with that hot pipe!!!

I have these ceramic coated headers & titanium cans fitted by a company called Smaltmoto from Brno, these have been developed for years on their race bikes and are rated better than just about all others for their performance and quality, not cheap, but quality never is.
Smaltmoto are not well known in the UK, but outside the UK they are regarded highly for their products.

I just luv the way my bike drives with these on, the urgency is amazing when you twist that throttle, they sound feckin amazing to.

Depends what you want and how much ya wanna spend

Anyway here they are

MIVV all the way friend :doug :doug

Ive got an arrow system on mine and well pleased with it lovely deep base sound :biggrin and i also no other guys with the Akrapovic system and also the renegade system and there all nice none of them cheap,It sometimes comes down to personal taste.

As for Smaltmoto Ive heard good things on theses to and the build quality looks pretty impressive :thumbup

Another make worthy of thought is Tigcraft they to do slip ons and complete titanium systems. Now Ive never seen them up close but they look sweet and the quality is fantastic :inlove see link :

haha yeah thats a compliment :thumbup good job you didn't give him a slap :biggrin those Leos sound great spydz has one on his mille :thumbup

if i had the money i'd have a tigcraft system

also wish smaltmoto did headers for the early bikes as would def consider them

i currently have arrow race headers and akra can but and in process of sorting new one out

Would suggest that most 'aftermarket' pipes will be an improvement on the originals...unless you want to core the originals.....if that's the case, I've got a set of standard '04 onwards pipes in my garage just asking for it!......However if it's bling you're after would suggest ARROWS - excellent quality and awesome sound!!

I had on mine Arrow race can, but it was way too loud. changed it to Leo and even without db killer Leo is more neighborhood friendly.
Leos are also affordable - tough I have heard that a Remus would sound good...

Arrow for me my friend. I have had them on 4 different bikes now, including full systems on my gsxr 750 track bike, and on my old gsxr 1000k3 that had 169bhp at the rear wheel. Very well built, and sounds so deep and loud on the factory.(although i feel they may be in need of repacking after 8k miles of v-twin pulses banging through them!!)

i have these, they sound just right for me nice twin gurgle without the bleeding ear drums and neighbourhood disputes lol

some lads may not like em cause they aint £600 but i'm not a badge man i only wanted the noise £250 both cans delivered
