What essential styling bits to get for 2000 RSV??

Need to get rid of the Ugly OEM front indicators with something that is a bit more stylish as a start. and was wandering if there was anything else to look out for?

Plenty of choices to go for indicator wise out there squire. Get yourself a Demontweeks catalogue. Mine at the front are flush fit using adhesive rubber pads, so can come off and back on easy enough without any need for drilling the bodywork. Take a look at the pics and you'll see what I mean.

Mine is a 2000 and there are plenty of options out there. Have a hunt around and see what grabs you :thumbup
 
This is my next mod too, off with those ugly OE indicators and on with some lovely flush mounted smoked LED ones.

Just started buying up some carbon fibre parts, fitted the wind deflectors so far and will be bidding on a front mudguard and rear hugger once funds permit.

Bike is a mucky mess at the moment, 3 billion squashed flies on the front fairing and it's pitch black down the bottom of the garden too.

Once cleaned up I will add some new piccies to my garage.

Bought some swing arm carbon fibre covers, but wasn't what I was expecting so they are on Ebay at the moment.

No probs with MSN, no decals yet but have been speaking to Image Works and they can do me a full set for £90 delivered.

Just gotta convince the missus that it's a safety issue riding without them. :devious
 
I am interested on replacing the indicators with later model mirror indicators.

Have any one done it?

If you have please let me know how... Before I buy the new mirrors with indicators.

i'm doing this through the winter


the wiring is plug & play
And you have to enlarge & drill a new hole in fairing stay


this is all from what i can remember when i found a thread on af1 last year

pretty straight forward but with mirros in hand will be self explanatory
 
Looks like i need to spend some hard earned on this upgrade, is it purely ebay for the mirrors and ind ? Are all 04> mirrors the same?

yep all 04 on mirrors the same other than the glass colour

ebay cheapest for new or second hand
