Yep agree with RS3 they are crap, plastic fantastic. Don't bother buying one unless it's for your step thru.. Certainly not recommended for a superbike.

Same here. Don't ever use a crap helmet. With these bikes you can f*ck up and find yourself skidding down the road into a brick wall very very fast. It is simple. You get what you pay for. Get a good one not a cheap one:thumbup

Aye I agree 100% with you there BS. Never scrimped on how much I've spent on lids in the past and wouldn't in the future. Bit of a thick cnut on the side me, don't want to make it any worse :doug:nana

Although did anyone read the article in a recent MCN where they tested a load of lids and apparently this test put a relatively cheap lid ( which I forget the name of now as don't have the MCN here ) above the latest ARAI one in terms of brownie points or similar.

After all that I use a Simpson superbandit which I think is not a legal lid so mayme I should shut the F*ck up.:dunno

I've already had the pleasure of riding an RSV beforehand and had my mind set on getting one as the next bike. Was gonna do it 2 years ago and almost bought one then but one thing and another put the spanner into that cunning plan.

And to be honest not having ridden a bike for a couple of years I wouldn't feel too comfortable jumping on someone elses bike and swanning off up the road CBT style :biggrin . Would rather look like a complete :jack on my own bike when I get it till I get used to 2 wheels again which wont take long. My brother's putting a ZXR600 hack on the road in the next couple of weeks so I'll pinch me the keys to that irate

Would certainly be up for nipping around one day and having a natter and having a good look over the bike and picking your brains though chap.
