that looks a good deal to me got the michelins on mine 190 on the rear and the chain has rubed the tyre

I was just going to stick with the original sizes as I had heard that going up to a 190 caused a few issues.

What's your grip levels like in the dry & wet?

How do they cope with the power?

How long have you had them on and what are they wearing like?

Sorry for the million and one questions but I can't afford to buy a set of hoops that aren't suited to the bike.

i just did my track day on 190/50's michelin pp. loved em. i used to use 190/55 but these turn in quickly with the high profile. wont know til you try it!

Pilot Powers - grip and stability great, excellent on road or track (for someone of my limited abilities, anyway) around 2000 road miles and two track days and still lots of tread left - maybe I'm not trying hard enough. Superb in wet at Rockingham, very confidence inspiring. I went from a 190 to a 180 and find her a bit happier to turn in - although I was still getting used to her when I changed tyre size, so ...

I run 2CT's, every day rain (excellent) or shine (fantastic feed back) they have lasted well, the entire summer in fact and are only just starting to square.

Yeah good price , good tyre i would stick with 180 rear mine rubbed with 190 to !

just be aware these are pilot sports NOT PILOT POWERS older and no dual compound technology
they're cheap for a reason - theyre old tech

They are a few years old now the Pilot Sports but were standard fit on some 2004/5 RSVR's. I've had 2 sets on now and at £130 a pair they are a great deal. For road riding they are pretty damn good imho. Go with the 180 not the 190 as the chain can catch on the sidewall of the larger tyre.

Cheers guys, think it will have to be these anyhow. The damn car tax letter has just arrived and her indoors has just put the stops on me buying things for my RSV.

Your valuable input has been much appreciated and if I win the lotto at the weekend Factory RSV's are on me for all. :biggrin
