What a Knob

Given myself a big bollocking, Been very fussy with the winter preparation to the point of playing and adjusting things. Had a good run out Saturday started to break the 2cts in nice and gentle all was good but I decided that whilst riding I was having to look too hard and having to lift my rear brake foot a bit to high to apply brake easily. So before sunday ride out I turn the brake pedal down a bit ( good system of adjustment the Ape) nice and easy now can reach the pedal with comfort. Drop Bollock after 2 miles the bike starts to slow me thinking OH **** is it running on one, NO I had only been covering the brake pedal and burn the pads out. Had to whip the pads out at the side of the road to bring the bike home.
The disc is OK and now going to fit new sintered pads. But I now have to go through the bloody fluid bleeding process. Leave well alone stop playing.
My wife says what a Knob. :jack

ah, bugger. could be worse, ken. least it's an easy fix. don't want to tempt fate here and rub it in, but my rear brake actually works! has done since i bought it. it's not great but it works. for how long......who knows:dunno

erm

my back brake works like fook:biggrin

can lock the back wheel up at will by just thinking about it. never bled it, just put some pads in from a caliper i had lying around, even the old pads could lock the back wheel up solid

don't know what your all moaning about, lol
