You can thank all the idiots that act like idiots for that..
I live not to far from there and consider myself very fortune to have some of the best canyon riding in my back yard. If you spend enough time on that stretch you'll witness the wrecks and recklessness some of these riders and drivers are involved in. Hell there is tons of it on YouTube just from that stretch alone..
I myself have been riding and had cars and motorcycles whip
u turns from the shoulder right in front of me..
It's just a parking ban the riding is still there..that's the important part..
I myself could care less to watch how fast and far over some guy can drag his knee through a turn..
I'll prefer to watch professionals do it on TV. Or watch some kid in his moms supdup 89 Volvo wagon drift through turns..no thanks.

Agreed, there are too many idiots on Mulholland at times. Not so much bothered by the parking ban as no one really parks anywhere along that stretch except at the Rock Store and the lookout, which still allows 1 hr parking. I'm thinking about all the extra cops that will now be patrolling trying to hand out tickets.
