Long story short, found my bike resting into a fence on its front fairing on the left hand side, with the sidestand still down and supporting the rear wheel off the deck. I'd left it in gear. Luckily, only the mirror snapped off and got some minor decal damage. I'd been blaming the local chavs, but.........
Funny thing, got the email below from RSV.Net earlier when I enquired if they sell a longer stand. Bearing in mind I've just tweaked the suspension last week. I have raised the rear and dropped the front to 4 rings showing.
He seems to be saying they can fall over if the suspension is not set as standard. Has anyone heard of this before? :confused
It’s the standard replacement – normally it is either that the bolt hole is worn causing the bike to lean over or the suspension setup is not correct.
