After doing my first trackday at the weekend I am looking for a RSV for doing trackdays, doesn't have to be a trackbike,a road bike with light cosmetic damage would do,as long as it's reasonably priced

I just sold mine to a lad from Eglinton who goes to Kirkistown, is that where you were on your track day?

Done my first one in Mondello Badger,Kirkistown will be my next one,I've heard it's a very fast track, should be good:thumbupWhat kind of price do you think I should expect to pay for a RSV?

Sold my well looked after 2001R for £2500 with a few spares thrown in, i would reckon £2000 to £2500 to get something that is decent, i will be over at Kirkistown on the 25th May for a trackday, will you be at that one?

There's one on the 20th April that'll be my next one, haven't thought about much after that but I'm going to try and get one in every month over the summer so it's possible,I'll let you know closer to the time,do you race or are you a trackday addict?I love the RSV on the track but I'm afraid of dropping it,I felt myself holding back on some corners on Sunday,so I figure it'd be much more fun with a track bike

No racing mate just trackdays, wish i had taken up racing years ago mind:roll

A dedicated trackbike will stop you worrying about your pride and joy and you will push that bit more and get more out of your trackday, i find i need to push the envelope a bit further each time to achieve better times and learn to react to the things that happen when you push that bit harder, i think you are doing the right thing if you want to do one a month.

There is one problem though mate, this is only the start as you will get addicted to it and want to buy wets next, then tyre warmers and so on and so on:pirate

Maybe see you on the 25th May bud:thumbup

I hope this isn't the start of a slippery slope,I have enough expensive hobbies as it is!Might see you there Badger:thumbup
