Wanted, ohlins steering damper

As the title says, steering damper wanted, doesnt have to be ohlins but would prefer. Is anyone here bidding on this ( click ) I agreed a buy it now price with him but has not rang, I was also watching another one that sold earlier that I would have bought, but as I had agreed price with this guy I never bothered bidding, wish I had now. So anyway, I require adjustable damper for 2008 Tuono,

I bought one from ebay aswell, make sure you get the collets with it, they come from ohlins and not aprilia. I had to get a mate to machine mine in the end.
 
Thanks for that info nadz, :thumbup, where do these collets go, and can you purchase them from ohlins as the one im watching dosnt look like it has them.:roll
 
If you look at this link here , the collets go on bolt 17 above and below the body of the damper. I'm not sure if you can get from ohlins. One other thing to note is that there is a space at the end where it attaches to the lower yoke. You'll need that to stop the body of the damper grounding on your head stock. It keeps it all square.

Anyone with a lathe should be able to knock some collets up.

:confused, the plot thickens, I hope then that if I do buy one off fleabay it comes complete with all components.
I have a standard sachs one on at the moment, will the parts be no good for the ohlins damper,:dunno.
