If anyone has one of these screens they want to sell could they let me know, got a taller screen on at the mo but am planning a scottish weekend blast and think I will need a bit more wind protection. From what pics I`ve seen these look like they`ll do more than the others.
Cheers
Shaun.

P.S. oh... and a better sidestand is on the shopping list too!

Can`t help with the Ermax Shaun, but have you thought about a Puig ?

Just bought one for mine, and I can`t believe how much difference it makes. Honestly, I`ve had fully faired sportsbikes which suffered more windblast !

Worth a look mate.......:thumbup

Cheers Dexter, my mates got one and I`m gonna give it a try, its no higher than my screen (don`t know what type it is, can`t see any markings on it) but it is more steeply angled so may well push the air upwards better, working away at mo so will try when I get home. :thumbup S`pose it all depends on personal dimensions, height etc.

Just looked on Demon Tweeks website and couldn`t see it listed so I`ve sent them an e-mail, cheers guys.

Hi guys.
I've got a Puig on mine & have found that it diverts the air into my helmet. (On mi ead that is). & I mean into the helmet. I'm 6' tall so it may be my problem but on a trip to Mugello I was forever watching bits of rubber, insects etc wirling round in front of my eyes inside the helmet. Got a wasp in there whilst doing a slightly dodgy 8 car overtake too. That exercised the old shincter I can tell you. I can stop it by hunching down & keeping mi chin into mi chest but that sort of defeats the object. Gonna take it off & probably flog it.

I`m not the tallest out there Shaun, at 5`9, but I get no probs with wind directing at the helmet, although I have seen mention of this before by someone else.

This is one of those rare occasions when being a short(ish) arse pays dividends..........:bounce

6'3" & I do tend to slouch down a bit whilst getting a bit feisty behind the Ermax but much better than what I had before. (Power Bronze)

Yup,it was me.
I found the windblast was directed under my helmet causing a lot of buffeting. Not nice at all.

Seen this on an ebay auction: Re: tint colours LOL

Dark Smoke: Almost completely black, mean & menacing, limited optical visibility (but likely to get the most phone numbers left on your pillion seat)

Light Smoke: A much lighter tint allowing excellent optical visibility, classy & practical (better quality phone numbers but less of them)

Clear: Ideal for track use & when using a tank mounted video camera. (Forget the phone numbers unless you're good enough to impress with your lap times)

Cool Blue: To colour co-ordinate blue Suzuki & Yamaha models or clash horribly with the other ones. (Might get the odd number but beware the fashion police)

Iridium: a purply, greeny gold Iridium finish with no visibility but ultimate peacock effect if that's your thing. (Phone number success similar to dark smoke but confirm gender first)

:lol:thumbup:yes:lol
