i have to agree with little1uk , IT IS NOT BECAUSE MY DADS GOT ONE that i think that it's awsome i think it looks really italien the new ones have taken on the japanese styling ......

ROde both and they are both good althought I was faster round a track on the new shape and I think the back end looks better.

the new models have good lines but i stil prefere the first production line

Old shape :thumbup, new one looks tiny :dunno and cramped , give me a shot and i might change my mind :devious

I just recently bought my older model and love it to bits :love2...BUT

If I'd have had the money I would have got a new shape....that rear end is just Soooooo beautiful :love2

oh just noticed this was an old thread , no wonder I couldn't vote :huh

old for me! ridden both no comparison!new one to soft for my liking is smoother though but not as much fun less grunty not as wheelie prone as old one is . think aprilia are falling inline with the japs abit i mean look at the new v4 (like a 675/fireblade) (in my opinion before everybody starts):thumbup
asked don at southerncross the same question (little1 was there) he said depends what you want out of a bike .the fastest he has been on a track is with the old one even though his new shape racebike has more bhp at rear wheel .says alot to me that does either way they are both good bikes but needs to be something good from aprilia to make me part from me old one in fact it will get handed down to millekid

Older one for me ridden both and enjoyed them both but just get on much better with the older shape.

Shame the poll's closed, I could have brought the score closer together! Newer one for me (yes I have one). I prefer the balanced looks of 2 (smaller) pipes and the flattened out look. The very rounded look of the older model doesn't do it for me, in fact (he says donning a tin hat) the older shaped reminds me of the Hayabusa :done

A hayabusa :mad1, sureley not :roll.. ride what you want and what does it for you :devious

Having had both, got to go for the new one or I won't have changed.

But both are RSV's so who cares which one as long as you own one
