was out on bike tonight twos up,noticed a hard vibration from front when triing to push on abit, not notacible at low speeds but defo vibrates when opening it up,feels like the wheel may be slightly buckled, there is a chip on it thats been touched up.hmmm,
its not as notacable when solo but have noticed it when hicking on by myself..:rollbut not as severe as twos up..

its the first time ave been twos up and hopefully the last,:eek:kills the power, and wheelies really catches you out..when your **** at wheelies:biggrin

ant ideas on what vibration could be,gave the wheel abit of a wobble doesnt seem any play there,

the can i have fitted the now is a road legal one,and this has an open chip eprom fitted, could it be its causing the engine too missfire and this is causing vibration or am i waffling a load of bullcrap:roll can is coming off as soon as my shotguns are chopped down abit anyway..

I'd be checking the headset isn't loose .. the fact that its worse with two sugesst that the extra weight is unloading the front more makng the problem even more noticeable .. Get the front of the bike off the ground & feel for free play in the front forks back & forth .

checked headstock all appears to be fine no play from it at all..

Had this before and it was a shagged wheel bearing. Had the bearings replaced the other week at the MoT and the front end is back to it's old "planted firmly on the tarmac" self. :thumbup

I noticed it more at lowish speeds though, especially low speed turns, going around roundabouts for example.

hmmm its goin for mot tommorow so will see if that flings anything up..

maybe just need to buy a set of oz wheels..lifes a bitch lol.

was goin to go to a1 autos in alloa coz you dont need to book it in,just turn up and they do it there and then..

I've heard they are pretty good, few lads at the fire station use 'em for their cars as they are just down the road from us. I've always used JK MC's in Springkerse, Stirling as James knows my bike inside out and is very conscientious with work done on it. I don't think he's the cheapest but I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on her!!!. :thumbup

passed mot with flying colours, testerbsaid no play anywhere, could i possibly be front tyre its a maxis have never been totally happy with it due to price but it does grip well
