Having found my 02' mille feeling well planted and great at handling at speed my RSVR 06' constantly at speed feels like its ready to tank slap at every opportunity? Tyres are Dunlop RR's and have only covered 200 miles... Wondering whether the suspension needs tweaking? As far as im aware its never been altered from new.... Any advice or suspension settings greatly received...... I only weigh 13st.....

13 stone means your 14 in gear which is a good weight for standard springing.
That means your issue probably lies with you setup rather than anything else.

You need to measure you bikes sag with and without you onboard You should be getting 35 - 50 mm front sag with you onboard. On the rear look for 25 -40.
Once you set that measure the sag without you. If it's near or less than 10mm then you are using too much preload to achieve your rider sag and need spring changes.

As a rough guide i have about 18 static 25 rider on the rear (105 Spring) and 28 static 35 rider on the front.
You don't have to match that as it's rider specific but in that area. Only once you have a good sag setup can you start playing with the damping.

There is quite a bit of stiction in the forks so measure the sag after compression and release and extension and release and the actual sag is in the middle. Mine have about 10mm difference between the 2 from stiction.
There is ver little stiction in the rear assuming it's well lubed.

Make sure you have the right number of rings showing on the forks to start with and the shock length is standard. (both in owners manual).

Mine also came from the factory with mismatched oil levels in each fork leg just to confuse things but that's probably not generic.

Make sure you tire pressures are sensible as well. 33F 36R ish

i think you may well find its the pressures giving the instability feeling, I know that if the pressures are higher than 33F and 36R (on the road) the bike feels horrible to me.
