Well the almost daily use of my T has started to reduce the shine in places of the black gloss paint on the tank of me Black Dream:bawling

I've tried strips and dots but it looks awful, so had a little browse and came across Ventureshield, and what looks like expensive clingfilm. Anyway, £35 later for the tank sides alone but it's now on.

I'm well pleased. Hardly notice it at all despite my best bodging. :thumbup

I got quoted 130 quidish for a full kit, every panel covered. Thought it was a bit heavy so I left it.

Then scratched me pod wi mi boot the next day :rolleyes

Mate of mine has covered his Busa in the stuff. It looks a bit naff pn his bike, but he reckons it serves its purpose.

Full kit was around £85 DIY, £150 to have fitted. Just the tank will do me.

Haha well in, asked for that. Funnily tho I got a right fookin calf injury climbing all over Prague lookin for none existent micro breweries. The bastads.

I've just put some Ventureshield on my headlights. Only trouble was the pieces that were supplied (from the official Tuono/Ventureshield template) were way smaller than the actual lenses, which I wasn't happy about.

I had a word with the supplier who told me that they are designed to the optimum size, and would be smaller than the lenses as if they were any bigger they would be impossible to fit.
Being a decent sort of chap, he gave me an offcut of Ventureshield and invited me to have a go at making my own, which I did.

Result? I now have lens covers that fit to within a couple of mm from the edge of the light, and they were a doddle to fit.

I'm doing the tank sides next, when I've made the template. :thumbup

if you can fit ventureshield do it! I've fitted it to my tank and IF FITTED PROPERLY WILL NOT SHOW. There is dealers where you can have it fitted but just take time an have a little patience, regularly have to fit it to helmets at work an that is a pain in the arse doesprotect em.
