When were your Valve clearance checks done and were they out of spec much?

My bike is about 9-10K miles, Service book says 12K for Valves but im interested to see what you've done.

Also how much did it set you back? $Â£

On the V2 engine they are usually in spec from info on these sites, but don't know about v4 ? Was issue with early v4 head valve seats being soft so losing compression? Someone with more experience with these will probably reply soon , took mine into work last night ,..I will be up to see Griff at AP soon for valve check and t/b balance etc

I got my valves checked at 13k miles. All were within spec.

Shouldn't have much to worry about then, it all feels pretty tight anyway
